The setup of your dream diary will likely vary depending on what its purpose is. Are you trying to understand your thoughts and feelings? Put your sleep cycles back into balance? Solve a problem? Do you want to articulate your dreams so you can control them? All of these will affect what kind of information you add to your diary. Here are a few sample templates that you can use for reference.
- Eric H. Chudler’s Dream Journal template: A very simple template from a psychology professor at the University of Washington. But keep in mind that it contains space to record when you fall asleep and wake up. Recording this information in your diary can help you adjust your sleep mode, so if you want to deal with this issue, please try this template.
2.Savetz Publishing’s Free Medical Forms template: More detailed dream diary template. Not only does it provide you with a space to describe your dreams, but it also provides possible explanations. It can even point out if your sleep was interrupted or if you fully remembered it so you can track your progress.
Dreams don’t last very long in our memory, but they do have a sense of reality or imagination that we tend to overlook. A journal or paper diary can help you do the same things, but sometimes traveling with a journal becomes difficult. Using an app is the most important dream diary tips. It is very safe, environmentally friendly, and can be preferred instead of a daily application as it consumes ink.

Everyone's way of thinking is different. Therefore, not everyone's dream diary is the same. It seems more logical and organized to me to keep my dreams with the same theme together. That's why, like John Dubois, I organize my dreams according to their themes.
